By using Background Remove (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Background Remove is a free, browser-based tool that removes backgrounds from images using on-device artificial intelligence. The Service runs entirely in your web browser. No images are uploaded to or stored on our servers.
3. User content
You retain all rights to the images you process through the Service. We do not claim ownership of your images, your results, or any derivative works you create.
Because all processing happens locally on your device, we do not have access to your images and cannot retrieve, restore, or delete them on your behalf.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to any images you process.
5. Intellectual property
The Background Remove name, logo, website design, and source code are our intellectual property. The underlying AI models are provided by third parties under their respective licenses.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Processing quality depends on the characteristics of each individual image.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Background Remove and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
